So, today is the last day of February. Looking back I haven't blogged in over a month.
The kids are doing great. Allie is really enjoying her basketball league. She has definitely gotten the hang of of how to play on the court, and now is scoring in every game. Her highest game was 10 pts. But, usually it's between 2-4 pts. Hunter is talking more and more. He's definitely passed over 50 words now. He still has articulation issues, and resorts back to babble when he has lots to say, or can't figure out how to say what he wants. But, we are SO proud of the progress that he's made. It's been a huge change since even Christmas. He's now going through a process called Child Find. This is the next speech program he will be in, if he's found eligible after he turns 3.(his current program will end at age 3) Well, the program would actually start in September. We've had an initial meeting, but the speech therapist there wants to do a more in depth evaluation, so that will be soon. We will know by May if he qualifies.
Brian and I are doing well. He's been traveling a little and I took on a 2nd PALS job within Loudoun Co. Public Schools. I now teach for an hr, 2 days a week at Legacy Elementary, which is Allie's school. I'm so excited about the position!
Spring will be super busy for us. For spring break we are headed to Maine, to visit family. Joey gets married in June, so we have two showers for that, Easter, Allie's birthday, and softball starts. I can't wait for warmer weather!
