Land of Little Horses

On Sunday we went to the Land of Little Horses in Gettysburg, PA. It's a short hour and a half drive, so it was manageable with a 5 week old. Last year, I took Allie there and she loved it. It's a farm full a little horses the roam around and her favorite was Jinx. This year she again loved the horses, this time a horse named Joe. Oh and the goats were a big hit.

Here is a picture of Allie and Jinx from last year. He followed Allie around all day. She loved him and still has a toy horse she calls Jinx.

This is her on a pony ride. She was fearless on the horse. Mommy however couldn't let go of her until Daddy made her take pictures.

We don't know why, but she loved the goats this year.

And here is Hunter just having a BLAST at Land of Little Horses.

For about 2 hours, Allie helped me in the basement. She spread the grout (or mud as she called it) between all of the cracks. And she also helped me with the wet sponge soak up the excess grout. And her favorite, was to take the cheesecloth rag and wipe down the tile. I think she just liked the name "cheesecloth."

I thought her help was going to force me to have to re-do a bunch of it, but she actually was a big help. And when we were done, she was so excited to show mommy her work. She was very proud of what we did.

New Beginnings as a family of 4!

Welcome! Four years ago we started Allie's babysite. We have loved updating her site with pictures and journaling about her life. June 17th, Hunter was born, so now it seems fitting to start a family blog, so we can share our family adventures of raising two children!

This blog is now replacing the babysite we have updated the past 4 years. So, stay tuned for more pictures and stories from the Tydlacka's.
